
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Maintenance Technician – (Chittenden County)
We are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. The selected candidate be responsible for supervising our growing network of properties across Chittenden County and tracking the progress of scheduled maintenance.
Qualifications

Full-time position (40 hours per week, 9 am - 5 pm)

Strong communication skills

Aptitude for problem-solving in various scenarios

Skilled carpentry experience (Framing to finished work)

Essential Maintenance Practices (EMP) Certification is preferred

Tools to perform general work (Specialty tools to complete jobs will be provided)

Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Responsibilities:
-
Schedule and perform routine maintenance associated with apartment buildings, single-family homes, and condominium associations.

Manage multiple ongoing projects from start to finish.

Oversee turnovers, remodeling’s, punch lists, general maintenance.

Document and complete tasks and work orders using our property management system. Receive task/work order, schedule work, perform work if needed, add notes and photos on work order, and track completion through the property management system

Execute manual repairs when necessary (fix/replace locks, doors, windows, small plumbing, base electrical, sink/toilet clogs, exterior repairs, painting, etc.)

Complete annual preventative maintenance and inspections.

Conduct general upkeep procedures on buildings and properties you are responsible for (fire safety inspections, EMP inspections, etc.)

Manage apartment/house turnovers and other projects Build estimates for work to be performed. Projects include a complete overhaul of entire buildings/apartments to small punch lists in apartments or at real estate listings.
